CHILDREN + FAMILIES PASTOR
At Flipt Kids, we know you desire to see your children develop deep roots in their faith. We know that shaping your child’s faith can be difficult with so many competing voices working against you. Our team believes that every child deserves a consistent environment that reinforces how God sees and loves them.
We understand that parenting and guiding your children alone can be challenging and overwhelming, which is why we make it our mission to model the character of God and to develop authentic relationships with every child and parent that comes through our doors.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Enter the building through the north Kids entrance. Stop at the Flipt Check-In Counter where one of our friendly greeters will register and check in your child. (Families of children under the age of 3 can also visit the check-in at the counter in the main lobby near the sanctuary.) Your child will receive a nametag that he or she will wear throughout the service. You will also receive a tag with a unique number for your family, and a matching tag for your diaper bag, if applicable. From there, our Flipt greeters will direct you to the appropriate classroom.
DURING SERVICE
All of our volunteers undergo a background check and are fully trained to care for your children. In the rare event that we need to contact you during service, we will send you a text. Please respond as soon as you are able.
AFTER SERVICE
Pick up your child directly from his or her classroom. Please show your numbered tag to your child’s leader.
If your child has an immediate need that requires your presence, we will text you. Please respond as soon as you are able.
The nursery is designed for children from birth through one year old and walking steadily. Many of our babies begin checking into the nursery at about 6 months old, but that is up to you as a parent.
It is our desire to provide the best experience for every child. If your child has special needs and could use some extra support, please contact Brittany@flipsidechurch.com to discuss how we can best serve you.
Children under the age of 3 are promoted based on development. The nursery accommodates children from birth through one year old and walking. The toddler room accommodates children from one year old and walking up through 3 years old and potty-trained. The Pre-K room accommodates children from 3 years old (and potty-trained) through May of the year they will begin kindergarten. Incoming Kindergarteners through 5th graders promote to their next grade in early June.
